New Job Woo Hoo!

As some of you may know I have been looking for a second job for many months now. The amount of hours that I get at my job with Target and the wages that I am paid just aren't enough for me to pay the bills that I have and get myself out of the mound of debt that I found myself under recently.

Like most people I would like to move out of my parents house and live on my own. I hate being dependent on them even after I have graduated from College. I am going nowhere fast with Target and I don't make enough there for me to be living independent from my parents. It's said but occassionally (more often than not) I rely on them for meals or money to pay my bills. I have been literally searching the city of Oshkosh for jobs over the past year, since I have graduated from College, for a second part-time job or a consistently full-time job that pays enough for me to be able to pay my bills and still be able to afford to live some place of my own, weather it's renting or buying at this point doesn't matter I just want someplace to call my own.

Well, I haven't found a full-time job that pays enough for me to live on my own, I have managed to find a second part-time job that will help me pay off some of my bills and eventually hopefully help me to be able to afford some place of my own for once. Although the job is on a part-time basis right now it will be on a full-time basis once schools starts back up in the fall.

I start my new job this coming Monday July 2nd. On Monday and Tuesday of this coming week I will be working on Second shift in order to get trained for my position and then on Thursday of this coming week I will be on third shift which is the shift that I was hired for in the first place. In this new position I will work 24 to 32 hours a week and then an additional 35 hours or so a week at Target.

Many of you might be wondering what my new job is, well, for those fo you reading this that don't know it will be a night auditor at the La Quinta Inn in Oshkosh. I will be working at the front desk on a part-time basis during the summer months, then once the school year starts back up again I will be working there full-time in addition to working at Target and going back to school in the afternoon and early evenings until December. In December the program that I am enrolled in at the Tech will be finished.

I am going to Fox Valley Technical College to become a Certified Nursing Assisstant! Hopefully then I will be able to get a job as a Nursing Assisstant on a full-time basis so that I only have to work one job rather than too but for the time being at least I should be able to pay my bills easier and hopefully get myself out of debt sooner with the two jobs that I have currently.

Life's Little Tidbits

There has been a lot going on in my life lately. I've been really busy lately and haven't really had a chance to blog much so I thought I'd take the time that I made at the moment to fill you in on some things in my life. Most of you know that I am in a relationship or at least I think most of you know that. You should know if you are friends with me on facebook but anyway to continue or as my boyfriend likes to say I digress.

I apologize if this blog is choppy at all but I don't really know how else to relay the information other than to just say it lol. Or type it in this case but anyway.

Some of you probably know that my birthday is coming up. For those of you that don't know my birthday is in 5 days and counting. I can't believe that I am going to be a hole quarter of a century old. My boyfriend and my parents are in kahootz for something to do with my birthday but i am not really sure what it is and frankly to be honest I don't really want to know. At least not until my birthday, this way i will be surprised with what they end up doing for me.

I play softball in a co-ed league up in Menasha on Sunday nights. My family and I have a softball team, or at least most of the team is my family, there are two of my brother's friends that play with us along with my cousin's boyfriend and his friend that play too. There are 12 players on the team in total. So far this season we have played two games out of those games we have won one of them.

I found out last week that my cousin had a baby well I guess that's how you would say it. My Cousin Tyler apparently slept with a girl and got her pregnant they aren't married or dating infact my cousin is dating someone else. He never told anyone in the family that he was going to be a father until a week ago Saturday. Then he told his dad about it because the girl he got pregnant was having labor pains and was due to have the baby soon. She ended up having the baby a week ago well it'll be two weeks ago now this coming Sunday.

My other cousin Erin is pregnant as well. She was due to have her baby yesterday actually but as of yet she hasn't delivered, at least not that I know of. Hey maybe she'll hold out a few more days and have the baby on my Birthday lol. That'd be kind of cool then I could share my birthday with a third member of my family. The two cousins that have and are about to have a baby are both Brother and Sister so this makes grandchildren number 8 and 9 for my uncle Gary.

My nephew is getting to be really big, he will actually be turning Three  on the 28th of September. He refuses to be called a little guy and if you call him something nine times out of ten he'll say "no I am a big boy" either that or "no I'm chester". He's getting to be quite the independent type, he likes to do lots of things by himself and doesn't always want help with things like he used too.
